Aquilina Social branding

Aquilina Social, a new social media consultant, wanted to create a brand identity that would not only make them stand out from the crowd, but also reflect their friendly and approachable personality.

The branding concept was developed from the name Aquilina. I wanted to make a feature of the name, make it pop out and have some fun with it. I found a typeface that had an unusual ‘A’. It was quirky and memorable, and I felt the ‘A’ could be used on its own as a motif even. Once the logo was created, we discussed a colour theme. We decided on an orange tone. Orange gives a feeling of energy, enthusiasm and warmth, all the characteristics of the face behind Aquilia Social. The brand identity has been used for the clients business cards, website, social media platforms and leaflets.
